On Sunday, November 15th, the Drexel Shaft was imploded. And while I had planed on being there (in my head at least). I ended up having to work, due mainly to how shitty I am at planning anything (ask my boyfriend). Luckily there were a million videos of it on YouTube. So while you may not be able to view a clip of this tower falling down, edited by me, with an M.I.A. or Santogold track blasting. You can watch this…

According to the dude who shot this video… “The Drexel Shaft has long long been a symbol of everything ugly and obtuse on Drexel campus. As of November 15th 2009 the shaft has been demolished. No longer will it be a blight upon our fair city’s skyline. Rejoice Philadelphia. It is a new day.”

Soooo in other good news, Drexel campus is no longer ugly and obtuse(?) Hhhmm…
