The Garden at Union Transfer

The Garden brought their 5th studio album, "HORSESHIT ON ROUTE 66," to Union Transfer on October 8th.

Twin brothers Wyatt and Fletcher Shears, also known as The Garden, brought their 5th studio album, “HORSESHIT ON ROUTE 66,” to Union Transfer on October 8th. The brothers walked onto the stage in their signature jester face paint and performed with simple white stage lights the entire show – which surprised me at first considering their music is so punchy and chaotic, but afterwards I felt that the display really highlighted their sound instead. I enjoyed seeing all the fans in their clown makeup and outfits and screaming the words along with the band. The Garden brought a lot of energy to their performance and I had a ton of fun capturing it!

I'm a portrait and music photographer originally from Baltimore, Maryland, but recently relocated to Philadelphia in July 2022. I've been shooting a variety of subjects for about 8 years and I love working with bright colors. I listen to a lot of music genres but I find myself listening to post-punk, noise punk, shoegaze, indie rock, and pop the most!
