Although Slayyyter’s May 25th gig at The Foundry at The Fillmore is technically sold out (along with much of the rest of the tour), as of right now, there are “Verified Resale Tickets” currently going for $23.  The date is the second-to-last of her current US headlining tour, which kicked off in February.  The run is in support of her debut LP, Troubled Paradise, which dropped last June, the follow-up to her 2019 self-titled mixtape.

At only 25, Slayyyter, whose moniker is inspired by her favorite character in Dazed and Confused, has already established herself as the premiere princess of hyperpop, with a sound and persona that’s equal parts TRL sensation (Britney and Christina are idols of hers) and porn starlet (Her Twitter handle is ms. new titties and her style would surely land her as the cover star of Playboy’s “Ladies of the Club” issue.)

Slayyyter has already collaborated with the likes of Big Freedia (“Stupid Boy”), Rebecca Black (“Read My Mind”), Pussy Riot (“Hatefuck”), and Charli XCX and Kim Petras [“Click” (No Boys Remix)”], and seems to be well on her way to levels of fandom and fame on par with any one of these icons.  FADER called her, “The Future of Pop Music,” while Rolling Stone proclaimed, “The internet is a pop star’s game, and Slayyyter is winning.”  I’m guessing that her next headlining jaunt will have her playing at places at least twice the size of the 450-capacity Foundry, so for any fans of pop music, getting your tickets to her stop next week in the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection is highly recommended.
