LA’s marine-inspired electronic artist and producer, Oxis, performed at The Fillmore last Sunday night, supporting Magdalena Bay on the last stop of their Imaginal Mystery Tour. She played a variety of her songs released over the last two years, including her latest single, Piranha, a glitchy synth-layered track that will be a part of her larger project coming this winter. I remember coming across her viral TikTok videos performing songs earlier this year, and was mesmerized by her dreamy aquatic-themed music.
Magdalena Bay returned to Philadelphia for the third time this year, performing songs from their latest album, Imaginal Disk, as well as fan-favorites from previous projects. It was my second time seeing them but my first time shooting, and it was a dream to capture their gorgeous set design and costumes.
