Almost a year into Obama’s first term and we still have “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, we still have D.O.M.A., we still have states where it is impossible for gay families to adopt children, we still have hate, and we’ve run out of patience. I understand “change” takes a little time, but you have to start Obama, and you have to start NOW!!
Sunday’s March in D.C. was the stage to let Obama know that we’re not gonna stop pressuring you… End “Don’t ask don’t tell” NOW!! It does work. Your commanders say it doesn’t work. Live up to your own words. Then… Live up to our expectations and spread marriage equality nationally.
