After more rescheduled dates than any of us can remember, this coming Friday (4/7) Kathleen Hanna, Kathi Wilcox, and Tobi Vail’s Bikini Kill – co-founders of riot grrrl, arguably the most important musical movement of the ‘90s – are finally bringing their reunion tour to Franklin Music Hall for a sold-out show. And for several both very lucky and very proactive fans, this will be just the first part of Kathleen’s Spring Reign in the City of Sisterly Affection, with Le Tigre bringing opening night of their first tour in 18 years to Union Transfer on May 27th (also sold-out…) Before Bikini Kill’s show this Friday, get reacquainted with their catalogue with a piece I wrote last July, ranking their five releases.
