After more rescheduled dates than any of us can remember, this coming Friday (4/7) Kathleen Hanna, Kathi Wilcox, and Tobi Vail’s Bikini Kill – co-founders of riot grrrl, arguably the most important musical movement of the ‘90s – are finally bringing their reunion tour to Franklin Music Hall for a sold-out show.  And for several both very lucky and very proactive fans, this will be just the first part of Kathleen’s Spring Reign in the City of Sisterly Affection, with Le Tigre bringing opening night of their first tour in 18 years to Union Transfer on May 27th (also sold-out…)  Before Bikini Kill’s show this Friday, get reacquainted with their catalogue with a piece I wrote last July, ranking their five releases.  The piece was meant to preview a July 13th show, the last of the rescheduled Philly dates, which was not quite sold-out, yet sold-out very shortly after the band retweeted my article…  I’m not saying there’s a connection, but…
