Bad Nerves perform at Underground Arts on 5/9

UK powerpop band, Bad Nerves, return to the US for their Still Nervous Tour.

The powerpop/punk band from Essex, Bad Nerves, return to the States for their Still Nervous Tour. San Francisco punk rockers, Spiritual Cramp, join them as their openers. I attended and photographed their Philly show at Underground Arts, and it was one hell of a show.

Bad Nerves performed songs from their 2024 album release, Still Nervous, as well as hits from previous albums. The house was packed with punks young and old. The energy was high, the music was loud, and everyone was moving and singing along.

It was my second time seeing Spiritual Cramp, and they never disappoint. Their songs, like Bad Nerves, are fast-paced and in-your-face, and you can’t help but want to dance to them. It was the perfect lineup to really get your workout in.

Check out the rest of my photos from the evening below, and thanks for reading!

I'm a music and portrait photographer originally from Baltimore, Maryland, but relocated to Philadelphia in 2022. I've been shooting a variety of subjects for about 10 years and I love working with bright colors. I listen to a wide range of music genres, but my favorites are post-punk, shoegaze, hardcore, and pop!
