  • Bad Nerves w/ Spiritual Cramp at Underground Arts (5/9)

The powerpop/punk band from Essex, Bad Nerves, return to the States for their Still Nervous Tour. San Francisco punk rockers, Spiritual Cramp, join them as their openers. I attended and photographed their Philly show at Underground Arts, and it was one hell of a show.     Bad Nerves...
  • Djo at Franklin Music Hall (5/3)

Djo, the musical project of Joe Keery from Stranger Things and Fargo, put on an incredible performance this past Saturday at a sold out Franklin Music Hall. His latest album, The Crux, was released just last month. Last year, his song End of Beginning went viral on TikTok, garnered...
  • Metz w/ Gouge Away at Underground Arts (4/20)

Toronto rockers Metz are currently touring newly-released fifth studio album, Up on Gravity Hill, bringing along Florida punk band Gouge Away, playing songs from their newly released third studio album, Deep Sage. I’ve been a fan of both bands for a few years and I’ve seen them both play...
  • Citizen at Brooklyn Bowl (11/19)

Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio punk-emo band, Citizen, play an incredible sold out show at Brooklyn Bowl on November 19th. Playing songs from their latest record, Calling the Dogs, as well as fan favorites from previous records. With opening acts, Modern Color and Narrow Head, this was certainly a...
  • Slowdive at Union Transfer (9/29)

I’m thoroughly impressed with Slowdive and the way they’ve managed to make such a comeback in the world of shoegaze. Their iconic 90s records have inspired so many incredible bands, especially during the resurgence of shoegaze we’ve been experiencing as of late. Their 2017 self-titled album and their newest...
  • Scowl at Underground Arts (9/28)

Santa Cruz’s Scowl played an incredible sold out show at Underground Arts, with equally as incredible openers, MSPAINT and Militarie Gun. I love all three bands so much, so I was stoked to be able to attend and shoot this show! Scowl has been making waves in the hardcore...
  • Black Country, New Road at The First Unitarian Church (9/19)

Black Country, New Road is a band I’ve been following since they released their first single, Sunglasses, back in 2019. They drew me in with the noisy post punk they created for their first album. I was devastated when the band announced that their lead vocalist and guitarist, Isaac...
  • Protomartyr at Johnny Brenda’s (6/18)

Detroit post-punk band, Protomartyr, played two sold out shows at Johnny Brenda’s on 6/17 and 6/18, during their tour for their sixth studio album release, “Formal Growth In The Desert.” Protomartyr has been a favorite band of mine for a few years so I’m happy to have had the...
  • Love And Rockets at The Fillmore (6/10)

Beloved 80s English post-punk band Love And Rockets returned to Philly for the first time since 1999 to perform at The Fillmore on 6/10 as a part of their first tour in 14 years. This is a band I was never sure I’d be able to see live, so...
