Viagra Boys at Union Transfer (2/14)

Swedish band Viagra Boys play UT on Valentine's Day.

Stockholm post-punk band, Viagra Boys, played a sold out show at Union Transfer on 2/14. The band is currently on tour for their third album release, Cave World. I’ve been following the band since their first album but this was my first time seeing their live show, so I was ecstatic to be able to shoot them. I was especially excited to shoot vocalist Sebastian Murphy, as he’s known to have quite the stage presence – crawling around on stage, pouring beer all over his bare chest and stomach, etc. My favorite part of the night was when he jumped down into the photo pit and stood singing directly over the audience. The whole band sounded amazing and brought so much energy. Overall, I couldn’t think of a better way to have spent my Valentine’s Day.
