At the top of the month, Emmy-nominated duo VOILÀ – comprised of Luke Eisner and Gus Ross – announced the Moonbloom tour, which will have the fully independent band (best known for 2020 single “Figure You Out”) bringing their love for pop rock and magic to mega stages of nightclubs and theatres across the US, UK, and Europe this fall, including a November 6th date at Union Transfer. And while VOILÀ have shared festival stages with the likes of Twenty One Pilots, Maroon 5, and Zara Larsson, their latest appearance in the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection had them headlining Kung Fu Necktie last November, a venue barely 1/10th the size of Union Transfer and not nearly capable of housing the kind of live experience they’re going to be bringing audiences on Moonbloom. Here are Three Reasons why you should get your tickets ASAP…
1. THE ALBUM
Earlier this month VOILÀ released the first part of their fifth album, The Wilt to Live (Part I), and it may be their best yet. While the duo’s sound remains as anthemic and arena-ready as ever, their latest LP sees them unafraid to explore the darker and harsher sides of life as an inspiration to not only keep going but strive for more. And their latest sounds would have them more than suited to share a stage with any of the current legends of emo or pop-punk, playing to tens of thousands of formerly angsty teens who likely wouldn’t be where they are had they been afraid to confront dreariness head on, as Eisner suggests in a recent Facebook post.
“We are all wild flowers at the end of the day. It is in times of great rain, great pain, that we grow. But sometimes we forget our nature and we face our days with an umbrella to shelter us from the storm of life. We play it safe, and quickly start to feel that we are living just to wilt…. but we need the wilt to live. We need the wake up call. We need the sign that we’re fading. We need to feel our spark die to actually wake up and go chase the sun.”
2. THE SHOW
The Moonbloom tour will have Eisner and Ross taking their love for magic and its theatricality to the next level with a live show that will debut their “Mirage Department,” a troupe of performers who will take the stage throughout their headlining set. Eisner describes the show as “VOILÀ’s take on Vaudeville,” explaining, “Aerialists, sword swallowers, jugglers, magicians, and illusions designed by the biggest names in magic unfold before your eyes as we turn the stage into an enchanted forest.” Ross describes Moonbloom as, “The tour we’ve been dreaming about since we were kids small enough to believe in magic – because that’s exactly what this is. The first time magic has truly met music,” while also noting that something like this couldn’t exist if he and Eisner weren’t continuing to do everything on their own: “No label would have ever greenlit a decision like this. But we couldn’t think of a more beautiful bet to place than one on the human experience: on the gift of community and the particular kind of joy that can only bloom in a room like this, with a growing community of magicians.”
3. THE SUPPORT
In addition to bringing their own best in class spectacle to the stage of the Eraserhood nightclub, VOILÀ will also be bringing along two stellar support acts. Opening the evening is alt-pop savant Ella Red (who you may have seen headline a packed Kung Fu Necktie this February), who’s spent much of 2026 touring her debut LP, IT’S NOT REAL, an album that, much like VOILÀ’s The Wilt to Live (Part I), has the singer/songwriter attempting to address the totality of the human experience.
Providing direct support for VOILÀ is nearly veteran LA-based alt-rockers Weathers, who last year featured on VOILÀ’s “Unhappy Hour,” off of The Last Laugh (Part I). However, in preparing to hit the road for 2026 (They spent May and June supporting pop rock duo LANY across Europe and the UK.), they’ve already dropped three singles in 2026, most recently “Your Girlfriend,” an anthem that sounds fit for the stadium parking lots of Warped Tour this summer.
