Detroit post-punk band, Protomartyr, played two sold out shows at Johnny Brenda’s on 6/17 and 6/18, during their tour for their sixth studio album release, “Formal Growth In The Desert.” Protomartyr has been a favorite band of mine for a few years so I’m happy to have had the opportunity to photograph them on night 2. It was an honor to watch Kelley Deal, lead guitarist and co-vocalist of 90s band The Breeders, perform with them.
