I’m not sure what’s the best way to get you in the mood for voting or [for those of my mindset] not voting, but I suspect there’s no better way to spend this Monday night (November 7th) in the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection than with Dilly Dally, who will be headlining Boot & Saddle.  The Toronto-based [self-identifying] #softgrunge quartet released their wonderfully scuzzy and wonderfully ‘90s debut LP, Sore, last October via Partisan, and they’ve been on the road much of the time since, including stops at our very own Kung Fu Necktie and Underground Arts.  Read my chat earlier this year with Dilly Dally’s Katie Monk here and check out the recent Nailbiter Remix of “The Touch,” off of their remix EP, fkkt, which dropped last month.

During the day Izzy Cihak teaches transgression, subversion, and revolution at Temple University. At night he haunts Philthy's best venues to cover worthwhile acts for Philthy Mag. Morrissey is everything to him and, in their own heads, all of his friends see themselves as Zooey Deschanel.
