Next Tuesday, May 23rd, Indigo De Souza will make her fourth attempt at headlining Union Transfer, after shows in January, May, and October of last year were postponed…  Although the previous three dates were to have the Asheville-based singer/songwriter supporting her sophomore LP, Any Shape You Take, just last month she released the follow-up, All of This Will End (both on Saddle Creek).  The album has the artist pondering her first 25 years and celebrating the current life which she’s created for herself.  “All of This Will End is a meditation on the few things we can control: the people we surround ourselves with, the love we choose to give and receive,” says Rolling Stone, while NPR adds, “The 25-year-old artist’s third album is a collection of songs that keep you moving forward as they look back,” making it the perfect fit for this edition of “Flashing Back.”  So, before coming out to finally see Indigo De Souza play a now-sold-out show at our favorite Eraserhood ballroom, read her January 2022 chat with me, for a show whose tickets originally went on sale September 17th of 2021.  Also, check out the recent music video for All of This Will End single “You Can Be Mean.”
