The last time we spoke with Iowa-born, Nashville-based country singer/songwriter Hailey Whitters was in February of 2022, just prior to the March release of her third studio album, Raised, and amidst her first-ever headlining tour, which included a particularly memorable night at The Foundry. Since then, she has toured as support for the likes of Shania Twain, Luke Combs, and Dan + Shay (including a stop at Wells Fargo Center), in addition to a number of headlining runs; performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Kelly Clarkson Show, and the Academy of Country Music Awards (She also took an award home!); and released her fourth full-length, Corn Queen, which dropped this June and earned praise from outlets like NPR Music, Rolling Stone, and BrooklynVegan, who proclaimed, “If you wondered if the fame from Raised would make Hailey Whitters forget where she came from, Corn Queen seems to suggest that she’s doing the exact opposite.” Whitters is currently 1/3rd of the way into the Corn Queen Tour, which will have her once again headlining The Foundry at The Fillmore on October 2nd.
