Although it has finally gotten a bit chilly and the touring season is still yet to kick into full swing, this Saturday, February 1st, Theatre of Living Arts will be hosting a great reason to come out… the return of Metronomy!  The English indietronica outfit, led by Joseph Mount and known for their lives shows filled with charmingly DIY choreographed dancing and light shows, are currently touring behind their sixth full-length, Metronomy Forever, which dropped last September.  As it’s title might suggest, the [17-song] album would seem to provide an amalgam of past sounds, with an intentional emphasis on both their most profound and most profoundly cheesy.  The night is sure  to be filled with colourfully swanky outfits and equally wonderful dancing… I’d highly recommend coming out… In the meantime, check out their recent music video for “Insecurity.”

During the day Izzy Cihak teaches transgression, subversion, and revolution at Temple University. At night he haunts Philthy's best venues to cover worthwhile acts for Philthy Mag. Morrissey is everything to him and, in their own heads, all of his friends see themselves as Zooey Deschanel.
