While the Daily Show is generally pretty fucking amazing, last night’s opening segment “CNN Leaves It There” was so masterfully researched and executed, I watched it 3 times. Literally.
Among the numerous questions Jon asked of CNN and the other 24 hour news organizations, he began with the curious choice of this weekend’s next to no converge of the tens of thousands of GLBTQ that marched at the Equality March in D.C. on Sunday. Only a month after the near wall-to-wall weekend coverage, followed by weeks of debate that was given to the Teabag protesters. Hhhmmm… Where’s the fair and balanced news there?!
Jon, you are the voice of of this generation of social commentators of this decade… I love you.
